Fresh Faced: Fall 2014 Beauty Trends!

Posted by Andrea Jaramillo on

Fall is officially here and we’re super excited for cozy knits, sipping wine by the fire and the changing leaves! But mostly, we’re excited to update our makeup bags with all our favorite fall beauty trends!

While a dark, moody lip is always a favorite of ours, we’re excited for the unexpected trends of fall 2014! This year’s runway saw lots of bright, bold color, jewel toned metallics and bare, even skin.

We’ve broken it all down for you here:

1. Be Bright: Don’t be afraid to be a little bold this autumn! The days might be getting darker sooner and you’re living in your favorite Altuzarra for Target sweater but that doesn’t mean you can’t throw in a splash of color! An electric shade lining under your eyes will make your eyes pop, while a pink shadow adds a playful and romantic vibe to your look creating the perfect contrast for this season’s sporty style.

2. Metallic Lids: Rock n’ Roll metallic shades every where this season! Make a statement with over the top blue and purple jewel-tones or take a more demure approach with a simple swipe of our Alchemy Copper shadow underneath your eye. Either way, prepare to shine!

3. Bare It All: Minimal skin product and a flawless, healthy glow are key to this trend! Any of the Alchemy Advanced Exfoliation treatments can help you achieve the flawless effect! Get a bare effect by finishing with a BB cream and Alchemy Pearl loose powder on your cheeks and brow bones for the perfect natural glow.

4. Lash Out: The 60s was a common theme across most catwalks, so follow suit with doll-like lashes! Two coats of black mascara will do the trick or make an appointment with our technicians for a full set of lash extensions!

Which look are you ready to try!?
