Filler Treatment: Jawline Contouring
This treatment is designed to improve the definition and shape of the jawline. With aging, skin and soft tissue descent due to gravity. This creates "jowling" and an overall ill-defined jawline. Older clients with signs of lower face aging may seek a jawline contouring treatment to restore a more youthful appearance to their lower face. How does the treatment work:
After using a topical numbing aesthetic to the area of injections, you will relax as the Aesthetic Injector treats the areas of concern. Jawline filler injection may be performed alone or in conjunction with other injectable procedures such as neurotoxin injection to the masseter muscles to narrow the lower third of the face.
Who is a good candidate: Anyone looking to reshape, create symmetry or sharpen or smooth the jawline. This is also wonderful for candidates that would like to reduce the appearance of jowls.
Recovery:There may be swelling or bruising at the injection sites or in the treated areas that may be mild to moderate. Swelling and bruising are managed well with icing and keeping your head elevated. Makeup may be used to conceal bruising after 24 hours.
