You may have heard of Botox for addressing fine lines and wrinkles, it's the name we all know and love. Some may think that is the only option out there, but there are other options for neurotoxins. Dysport is an amazing product that also addresses fine lines and wrinkles. Both products are great for rejuvenation. Let's explore a little bit more about Dysport.

What are neurotoxins?

Botox and Dysport are Botulinum-A derived medications that when injected, smooth wrinkles and expression lines. They are used to relax muscles to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

So you look like you, only with less noticeable facial lines.

Both options are a quick 15-20 minute treatment with minimal downtime. 

Dysport vs. Botox

So, where do Dysport and Botox differ? 

Dysport’s molecule size is smaller, allowing faster absorption into the muscle and a wider spread. Dysport was mostly designed to help those with moderate to severe between the brow lines (or 11s), so if that’s your primary concern, Dysport might be the right option for you!

What is the downtime with Dysport?

What is amazing about neurotoxin injectables is that very little downtime is needed. Similar to Botox, a Dysport treatment takes about 15 to 20 minutes. You may experience some swelling or bruising, but most clients are free to return to their day as normal. There are some things to keep in mind after your treatment:

• Remain upright for the next 4 hours
• No facial treatments for 48 hours
• No excessive workouts for 24 hours
